چکیده

A total of one hundred and fifty, a day-old keets were used in an experiment arranged Completely Randomized design (CRD) with the aim determining effect feed particle size on performance keets. The randomly divided into three treatment groups viz; 1, 2 3mm sizes having 45 each. These further subdivided replications 15 per replicate. reared for 56 days post 21days brooding. They fed watered ad libitum. Data collected subjected to One-Way Analysis Variance. proximate composition statistically similar (P>0.05) contents. results obtained revealed significant (P<0.05) differences all parameters considered exception initial weight. 2mm had highest final weight 1529.73 ± 8.74g/bird; gain 26.85 0.16g/bird/day; intake 44.50 0.54g/bird/day; best feed: 1.66 0.03 protein efficiency ratio 3.10 0.05. mortality 33.33 0.00% (n = 15) was recorded size. showed that birds depicted potential efficient utilization which is related fine texture feed. Hence, it could be concluded up 11 weeks age can managed effectively 2mm.
